Toyota Glanza Smart Hybrid

Hi Faisal,

Firstly its shocking that Toyota has priced G variant of glanza with smart hybrid petrol at Rs 65k cheaper than maruti baleno. Is it worth the buy? Also, where does venue 1.2litre S variant stand against this? I20 petrol is not good I heard. Diesel not reqd. For my usage. Is dzire vxi better than glanza? Main usage is in city with 700kms monthly running

Buddy accordung to your expectations, i think you should keep the dzire aside and go for the venue or the glanza. Depending on the fact that both glanza and baleno have same body design and similar other spec but since toyota is know for its build quality the glanza might be safer as compared to the baleno. Also the major compitition is of the engines since the overall design language is same. Comming to the venue, here the problem comes with the lagg of gears which might become irritating and make one angry too. And the car is also loaded with more and latest features(as you may have seen in faisal sir's video). You also get more space and ground clearence as compared to the glanza. Here, the G verient get the 1.2 litre K12N engine which produces 89 bhp and 113 nm of torque. Whereas, the hyndai venue produces 82bhp and 115 nm of torque. Lookong at these specs i would prefer you the venue but still you should test both. Hope you are satisfied with this comment and if not then faisal sir will help you....😃😃

Hi Prathmesh- thanks for your response. Venue is better in terms of build space etc. But remember that 1.2litre kappa petrol S variant of venue will be sad. Tat engine is underpowered in i20 itself then imagine in venue. Plus glanza will give much higher fuel efficiency. Venue is definitely a car of segment above and turbo manual petrol not in my budget. Faisal please suggest other options or do you feel venue 1.2litre is good. How about Nexon lower variant? 8lacs on road price is my budget.

As you wish buddy but if you look only for fuel efficieny then you might loose the space and other high end features. But since you would be driving on city roads then glanza is also good only the thing is you will loose out on the fratures(not surely).talking about the lower trims of nexon then you can probaboly think of buying it since the car is as you know the toughest and 5 star rated by the ncap. It gets a touchscreen infotainment system with reverse camera(not sure for lower verients) but the the same issue arise that is of the space and updated features which venue persue in and due to which it has become the leading car in the segment along with xuv300. You may also test drive the xuv300 as it is also in demand. Hope this comment helps you....😃

Hey bro please note high end features you're referring to are not available on Venue S variant. Glanza G variant has better features than Venue S variant. Space again its about bigger car feel that venue gives. Interior design for me both glanza n venue are similar. Xuv300 yes I like a lot. But it's expensive. And petrol poor mileage.

Issue is my budget buddy bcos compact SUV is different segment from premium hatchback. I will still test drive all these only then decide

As you wish buddy why not you go for the ford freestyle? Its also a good car.
