Instance: Brand new car CIAZ Alpha petrol MT, went to take the the delivery of my car from the showroom last Thursday . As I was not confident of driving the car myself to home. So asked whether they can deliver it to my home & they agreed. While bringing the car inside the house the showroom driver hit the steps & there was a crack on the Bumper(it was a very minor hit). I told to take the car back to fix on their own expenses. The nexa Sales executive was present the accident location.
Next day the showroom people told that bumper has to be replaced & will be fixed.
Now they are asking me to claim the car insurance as it will be deducted from drivers salary who is making less and it will be hard from him & show kindness to him. The cost of the bumper is 13k INR.
I'm very irritated by this.
Should I claim the car insurance? or should i Strictly say NO And also what is the disadvantage of claiming a car insurance at this stage (brand new car from showroom) will I'll be paying more premiums in future, NCB? Need proper advice.
